It will provide essential information about cleft conditions, along with the etiological, anatomical, embryological, and surgical principles of cleft lip and palate, to establish a clear academic framework for understanding and managing these conditions. Dr. Mohamed El-Shazly is currently a professor and ex-chairman of the Plastic Surgery Department, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Assiut, Egypt. He is one of the nine members of the higher national committee of academic professorship upgrading of the specialty of Plastic Surgery in the Supreme Council of The Egyptian Universities.
